You must see the Borghese Gallery




Of course, we visited the Borghese Gallery while we were in Rome. They have a nice collection of art that reflects the Roman way of life.










Garold was striking a pose like Augustus Caesar.







They carved their sarcophogi -- coffins -- out of stone.







They used tiny pieces of marble to create mosaics.







This stained glass shows how ancient Romans made their coins.



Apparently the Roman economy had some problems too, since Commodus enacted price control as early as 2 A.D. Unfortunately it did not work.
